Dear Friends,

Caitlin, Michael, Ryan and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the over 400 family members, friends, colleagues, and players who attended the Bob Flynn Memorial Dinner on September 15th.  It was a great evening filled with many wonderful stories and antidotes about how Bob touched the hearts of those with whom he came in contact.  Some were profound, some were touching, and some were laugh out loud funny.  All, however, spoke eloquently to the very essence of what made Bob special. 

I would be completely remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to thank the following people and institutions who contributed so much time, money, and effort to ensure a successful event:

• Jack Degele for making this great idea become a reality.
• Scott Moyer whose meticulousness led to excellence in every aspect of the evening – the food, setup, etc.
• Dave Reeder who created the flier, the tickets, and the wonderful program.
• Dr. Coley and the entire McDaniel staff for their hospitality and wonderful facility.
• Tom Grace, Wayne Cook, Mike Rudd and Kevin Robinson for selling so many tickets to so many wonderful people!
• Becky Martin for the great slide show.
• Melissa Oak for creating the place cards and basketball centerpieces.

My desire would be to thank each and every one of you individually.  With that not being possible, please know that you meant so much to Bob and you will continue to mean so much to me, Caitlin, Michael, and Ryan.
